We are taught to learn from other fellow humans like us, from history, or in the present time; family, friends, neighbors. But, we are rarely taught to learn from mother nature around us, especially the other species, maybe because we think that we are better than them. But it doesn’t have to be this way.

While we cannot fly(naturally of course, we have airplanes), we can simply observe those beautiful creatures to create a beautiful life of our own.

1. Be present :

Birds are often aware of their surroundings, they proceed with caution in any environment. We have to be like them, in the way that we appreciate life as it this, things as they are, and to go to new highs, or places for new discoveries.

Always learn to seize the moment, and be in it. True happiness and satisfaction lies here and now.

2. Be confident :

Birds rely on their wings to lift them up to new places, and new adventures, if something upset them, they go to another place to see. Dig deep, and find what motivates you within your limits and abilities, then go out there and get after it.

True freedom and power come from knowing yourself, and matching your life with what you aim for. It’s okay to make mistakes as long as they are the way to your goals.

3. Always show up :

Show up for what calls you, your family, friends, and your mission. During good times, celebrate with your loved ones. During bad times, stick together, and don’t let negativity and toxicity spread like disease between each other.

Be out there, seek help, and help others along the way. Be visible(like a bird in the sky) in any time.

4. Remember your values :

Birds behave the same way, eat the same things, and they teach their younger ones to do the same. Like bird migration which takes always the same route.

You and your family, friends, team in the workplace should have a common goal and mission, and stay committed to your purpose and core values.

5. Let that shit go :

When things get badly, learn to let go of the branch and move on, free yourself from negativity and toxicity.

Be grateful that you are alive, learn from the mistake, never get back to it for another reason other than learning from it. One more thing, don’t you ever become bitter, this is basically the poison that you never want to try.

6. Build a strong home :

Home doesn’t have to be the physical one, it also has to be the community, the family… where you get to stick around, build strongs bounds with its members like a solid iron chain.

A strong home is the physical one who can hold you, your family, your friends when they needed help, and the moral one which represent your core values that you share with them.

7. Learn to sing :

It doesn’t have to be perfect, just sing when happy, grateful, and satisfied with your current situation. Bring others to clap, to danse, to simply be viewers.

Spread happiness, and radiate positive energy to them, because this what matter, not what you sing and if it is good.

8. Eat mindfully :

Birds eat a little in many times of the day, they seek what they can get, and never what they can’t. They eat a few so they can be mobile, and they provide for their family.

You don’t have to eat until being full, save your energy for movement, other tasks for your life. Be grateful about what you have, and remember that others don’t have it now.

9. Stay Focused :

Remember why you started is the most important thing to do, it is easy to get caught up in short term problems, make adjustements and change your strategy, be flexible and light-minded.

Be focused on your goal, when you reach it, stop, and go further. Is it better to be satisfied and grateful than being always on the chase.

10. Recognize others efforts :

Birds encourage each other, empower others to fly faster and better. Give people the recognition that they deserve mutually, it is the core of long term satisfied relationship.

Acknowledge all contributions, small and bigger ones in your family, friends, coworkers. This is the basis for happiness and prosperity in all parts of society.

Conslusion :

We humans can get to mother nature and its vast number of species, we are a little disturbed by technology, work, and other things that make us forget who we are in nature.

We are capable of evolution, growth, and learning, but we can easily forget some fundamentals in life, our humble beginnings. This is why we should contemplate on other species, as they represent true nature, the origin, and the root of all things existed. So we can be grateful, happy, and satisfied in our current situation.
